暑い日には水族館が最高！/Aquariums are brilliant on hot days!

東京で空飛ぶペンギンが見られるのを知ってますか？東京・池袋には、まるでペンギンがビルの上を飛んでいるように見える水族館があります。ＳＮＳでも有名な「天空のペンギン」を実際に見てきました。

Did you know you can see flying penguins in Tokyo? In Ikebukuro, Tokyo, there’s an aquarium where it looks as though penguins are flying atop the buildings. I went to see the ‘Penguins in the Sky’, which are famous on social media, for myself.

你知道在东京能看到“飞翔的企鹅”吗？在东京池袋，有一家水族馆，从那里看去，企鹅仿佛正在大楼顶上飞翔。我亲眼去看了在社交媒体上颇具人气的“天空企鹅”。

初体験！下から見上げるペンギン/A first-time experience! Looking up at a penguin from below

こちらが空飛ぶペンギンです。ビルを向こう側に眺めて、真っ青な水中を泳ぐペンギンは空を飛んでいるようです。「本当に飛んでる。」童心にかえって夢中になってしまいました。ペンギンを下から見るだけで、こんなに感動するとは思いませんでした。丁度、飼育員の方が餌を与えに来る時間でたくさんのペンギンが食欲に押されて飛び交っていました。ペンギンの泳ぐ姿を真下から眺めることはなかなかできません。貴重な体験をさせていただきました。

Here is the ‘flying penguin’. With the building visible in the distance, the penguin swimming through the deep blue water looks as though it is flying through the air. ‘It really is flying.’ I felt like a child again and found myself completely captivated. I never imagined that simply looking up at a penguin from below could be so moving. It happened to be just the right time for the keeper to come and feed them, and lots of penguins were flitting about, driven by their hunger. It’s not often you get to watch penguins swimming from directly below. It was a truly special experience.

这就是“飞翔的企鹅”。眺望着对面的摩天大楼，在湛蓝的水中游弋的企鹅仿佛正在翱翔天际。“它真的在飞啊。”我仿佛回到了童年，看得入迷。没想到仅仅是从下方仰望企鹅，竟会如此感动。恰逢饲养员来喂食的时间，许多企鹅被饥饿感驱使，在水中来回穿梭。从正下方观赏企鹅游泳的姿态实属难得，这次让我体验到了如此珍贵的时刻。

ペリカンの食事見学/Pelican Feeding Tour

ペンギンが飛び交っている近くにはペリカンが大きなくちばしを揺らしながら歩き回っていました。近くで見ると迫力があります。あんな大きなくちばしだからたくさんの魚をほおばることができるんでしょうね。

Near where the penguins were fluttering about, a pelican was strutting about, waggling its large beak. It looked quite impressive up close. With a beak that big, I suppose it can gobble up plenty of fish.

在企鹅们飞来飞去的地方附近，一只鹈鹕正摇晃着它那巨大的喙四处走动。近距离看去，气势非凡。正因为有那样巨大的喙，才能一口吞下那么多鱼吧。

色とりどりの熱帯の魚たち/A colourful array of tropical fish

屋内に入るととっても涼しそうな水槽の中で色とりどりの魚が泳いでいます。こちらは熱帯の海の魚たち。魚の中でも特に色鮮やかで、とっても奇麗です。海の中はもっときれいなんでしょうね。実際に南の海に行って潜ってみたくなります。

As you step inside, you’ll see colourful fish swimming in aquariums that look wonderfully cool. These are fish from tropical seas. They’re particularly vibrant and absolutely beautiful. I imagine the ocean must be even more beautiful than this. It really makes me want to visit the southern seas and go for a dive.

走进室内，只见在看起来非常凉爽的水族箱里，五彩斑斓的鱼儿正在游动。这些是热带海洋里的鱼。在鱼类中，它们的色彩尤为鲜艳，非常漂亮。想必海底的景色会更加美丽吧。真让人想去南方的海边潜水看看。

エイやサメが優雅に泳いでいる水槽もありました。なかなか迫力のある姿ですが、海では出会いたくないですね。一緒に生活をしている小さな魚は食べられないのでしょうか。

There was also a tank where sharks were swimming gracefully. It’s quite an impressive sight, but I wouldn’t want to come across one in the sea. I wonder if they can’t bring themselves to eat the small fish living alongside them.

还有一个水族箱里，鲨鱼正优雅地游动着。虽然这景象颇具震撼力，但在大海里可真不想遇到它们啊。和它们生活在一起的小鱼，难道不会被吃掉吗？

水の中で揺れている水草や藻を見ているだけでも癒されます。こんなところで生活をしている魚たちは幸せでしょうね。

Just watching the aquatic plants and algae swaying in the water is soothing. The fish living in a place like this must be very happy.

光是看着水中摇曳的水草和藻类，就让人感到心旷神怡。生活在这里的鱼儿们一定很幸福吧。

少し変わった風貌タツノオトシゴ/A seahorse with a slightly unusual appearance

こんな奇妙な動物も見ることができます。小さな恐竜のような姿のタツノオトシゴ。タツノオトシゴの中でも大きい方ですかね。２枚目の写真は昔、日本のCMで人気が出たウーパールーパーが大きくなって黒い体になったものですね。正式名称はメキシコサンショウウオとか。

You can also see strange creatures like this. A seahorse that looks a bit like a tiny dinosaur. I suppose it’s one of the larger ones among seahorses. The second photo shows a grown-up version of the axolotl—which became popular in a Japanese advert a long time ago—with a black body. I believe its official name is the Mexican salamander.

还能看到这种奇特的动物。外形像小型恐龙的海马。这应该算是海马中体型较大的吧。第二张照片上的，就是以前在日本广告中走红的墨西哥蝾螈，长大后变成了黑色。它的正式名称好像是墨西哥蝾螈之类的。

カニ、タコ、イカ、、大好物です/Crab, octopus, squid… they’re my absolute favourites.

こちらの水槽では大きなカニがのそりのそりと威厳をもって歩いていました。ここまで大きくなるまでにはたくさんの外敵から逃げてきたんでしょうね。カニは大好物なので、思わずよだれが出そうになってしまいます。そして川にいる小さなカニもみることができました。

In this tank, a large crab was strolling along with an air of dignity. I imagine it must have had to evade many predators to grow this big. Crabs are my absolute favourite, so I can’t help but start drooling. I also managed to spot some small crabs in the river.

在这个水族箱里，一只大螃蟹正威风凛凛地慢悠悠地走着。能长到这么大，想必是躲过了许多天敌吧。螃蟹是我最爱吃的，光是看着就不禁流口水了。此外，我还看到了河里的小螃蟹。

こちらはタコ！でかくて迫力があります。タコを初めて食べた人ってすごいと思います。最初にこの姿を見て食べれるとは思わないですよね。イカも涼し気に泳いでいました。

This is an octopus! It’s huge and quite an impressive sight. I think it’s amazing that people actually eat octopus for the first time. When you see it looking like this, you wouldn’t think you could actually eat it, would you? The squid were also swimming about, looking quite cool.

这是章鱼！个头很大，气势十足。我觉得第一次吃章鱼的人真了不起。初次看到这种模样，肯定不会想到能吃下去吧。鱿鱼也在水中悠然地游着。

流れに逆らう魚たち/Fish Swimming Against the Current

川魚の水槽です。人工的に作られた流れに向かって元気よく泳いでいました。流れに逆らっているだけあって引き締まった体をしていました。

This is a tank for freshwater fish. They were swimming vigorously against the artificially created current. As you would expect from swimming against the current, they had well-toned bodies.

这是一个饲养淡水鱼的水族箱。鱼儿们正朝人工制造的水流方向活力十足地游动着。正因为一直在逆流而游，它们的身躯显得格外紧实。

みんな水辺の仲間たち/All the Friends by the Water’s Edge

水辺の仲間たちの爬虫類や両生類も見ることができます。カエルは日本では見ることができない色鮮やかなカエルが何匹もいました。小さい頃は近所に池があり亀やカエルを捕まえて遊んでいたのを思い出します。

You can also see reptiles and amphibians that live by the water’s edge. There were several brightly coloured frogs that you wouldn’t normally see in Japan.I remember that when I was little, there was a pond in the neighbourhood and I used to catch turtles and frogs to play with.

还可以看到水边的伙伴们——爬行动物和两栖动物。那里有许多在日本看不到的色彩鲜艳的青蛙。我记得小时候附近有个池塘，经常去那里捉乌龟和青蛙玩。

超かわいいコツメカワウソ/An absolutely adorable Asian small-clawed otter

そして哺乳類も元気に活動をしています。コツメカワウソの水槽の周りにはたくさんの人が群がってその容姿に「可愛い！」との声が上がっていました。アシカは大きいので水槽がちょっと狭そう。

The mammals are also going about their business as usual. A large crowd had gathered around the Asian small-clawed otter’s tank, with people exclaiming, ‘How cute!’ at the sight of it just now. The sea lions are so big that the tank looks a bit cramped for them.

此外，哺乳动物们也正活力十足地活动着。水獭水池周围围满了人，大家看到它的模样纷纷惊呼“好可爱！”。海狮体型庞大，水池看起来有些狭窄。

緑の庭園/The Green Garden

屋外のちょっとした緑のスペースも癒しの場となっています。よく見るとペンギンもお散歩中。空中遊泳を終えて一休みでしょうか。都心の憩いの場、良いですね。

Even a small patch of greenery outdoors can be a soothing retreat. If you look closely, you’ll see a penguin out for a stroll. Perhaps it’s taking a breather after a spot of mid-air swimming. It’s lovely to have a place to relax right in the heart of the city.

户外那片小小的绿地也成了让人放松身心的场所。仔细一看，连企鹅也在散步呢。大概是结束了空中游泳，正在稍作休息吧。市中心的休憩之地，真不错啊。

1日中遊べる池袋・サンシャイン/Ikebukuro Sunshine: A place where you can spend the whole day
