東京で秋に色とりどりの風景を楽しめるのは立川市にある昭和記念公園。
広大な敷地の中には広場や日本庭園、バーベキューガーデンなど様々なテーマのエリアがあり、小さな子供を連れた家族連れからカップルまで一日楽しむことができます。レンタサイクルでサイクリングコースを走れば秋の気持ちよい風を感じることができます。
A colourful autumn landscape in Tokyo can be enjoyed at Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa City.
The park’s vast grounds include a plaza, a Japanese garden, a barbecue garden and various other themed areas, where everyone from families with small children to couples can enjoy a full day of fun. Rent a bicycle and ride along the cycling course to feel the pleasant autumn breeze.
園内には季節毎に植物を植え替えているのでどの季節も花を楽しむことができます。今の季節に楽しませてくれるのがコスモス。淡いピンクや白など色とりどりのコスモスが青空の下で風に揺れる光景に心が和みます。
The park is planted seasonally, so visitors can enjoy flowers in every season. The cosmos are a delight in the current season. The sight of cosmos in a variety of colours, including pale pink and white, swaying in the wind under a blue sky is a heartwarming sight.
この季節に香りを楽しませてくれるのが金木犀。園内には大きな金木犀が所々に飢えてあり、甘い香りが漂っています。
The fragrance of the golden osmanthus is a delight at this time of year. Large golden osmanthus trees are planted in various places in the park, and their sweet fragrance wafts through the air.
園内にはイングリッシュガーデンのような秋の花のガーデンエリアも設置されていて、たくさんの種類の花々を同時に楽しむことができ、たくさんの人が思い思いのポーズで写真を撮影しています。中には結婚式の記念の撮影をしている人も。
The park also has an English Garden-like autumn flower garden area, where you can enjoy many types of flowers at the same time, and many people pose for photos in their own way. Some of them are even taking wedding commemorative photos.
最後にご紹介するのは一足早い紅葉を楽しませてくれるコキア。小高い丘一面にコキアが植えられており、一面真っ赤に染めています。
Last but not least is the kochia, which provides an early glimpse of the autumn leaves. Kochia is planted all over a small hill, turning the whole area bright red.
